Friends in the field: Miep Bos from the Netherlands about GMOs

November 24, 2007

Miep Bos is a housewife, mother, and artist who likes to know what she is eating and what kind of food she is preparing for her family. In 1996 she learned that manufacturers didn’t want to tell her if they use GMOs in their products. She wrote to them all and then spent the next eleven years passionately researching and writing about genetically modified foods. Miep has compiled a virtual book, “Worries of a Dutch Housewife about GMOs” which is full of valuable information and respected sources. She continues to work as an activist against the use of GMOs, hoping to spread the word and make a difference for generations to come. In the meantime she says the best thing you can do for yourself and your family is to shop organic. Miep will be happy to send her book to you. Please write her at:
